An experienced instructor

With over 25 years' surfing experience and a background as a top-level athlete, I've built up my experience on Breton waves and broadened my spectrum on world-class waves all over the world. With my passion for surfing intact, I obtained my BPJEPS Surf diploma in 2021, enabling me to teach safely and professionally.

Over the years, I've worked with numerous surf schools, developing a teaching approach adapted to all levels, ages and audiences.

Today, I'm ready to share my passion for surfing with you and help you experience unforgettable moments in a friendly, caring atmosphere.

A mobile school

The right spot for every session Blast Surf School is a mobile surf school based in Plouharnel. Thanks to our mobility, we can choose the best spot every day according to weather conditions and your level. Lessons take place mainly at Sainte-Barbe and Ty Hoche, ideal for progressing in complete safety. Depending on swell and wind conditions, we can also travel to Penthièvre in Saint-Pierre Quiberon, Kerhilio in Erdeven, or the wild coast of Quiberon (reserved for experienced surfers). Our aim: to offer you the best possible surfing experience, varied and adapted to your progress.

Sainte-Barbe and Ty Hoche

Located in Plouharnel, in the heart of the bay between Kerhilio and Penthièvre, the beaches of Sainte-Barbe and Ty Hoche are the best spots to learn and improve your surfing skills in complete safety.

Facing due west, they catch the swell very well and offer a wide, unobstructed practice area, ideal for beginners and intermediates.

Its regular waves, sandy bottom and natural environment make it an accessible, friendly and effective place to learn to surf.

Penthièvre and Kerhillio

In Saint-Pierre Quiberon, the Penthièvre spot is sheltered from southerly winds, ideal for powerful swells.
At the opposite end of the bay, the Kerhilio beach in Erdeven is protected from northerly winds and well suited to strong swells.

These two spots are excellent fallback options in spring and autumn, when conditions become more challenging at the main spots.
They guarantee comfortable and safe sessions, without compromising on wave quality.

The wild coast

Quiberon's wild coastline offers a spectacular natural setting and powerful waves, reserved for experienced surfers.
Exposed to the Atlantic swell, this area combines sandy bottoms and rocky cliffs, requiring excellent technique, a good sense of the ocean and a solid physical condition. The currents are strong, the waves hollow, powerful and fast, in an environment with little tolerance for mistakes.
For safety reasons, no beginner or intermediate courses are offered.
This spot is reserved for advanced levels, in small groups, in the form of filmed coaching or private lessons. I only accompany people whose level I have already assessed, and only when conditions are optimal.
