Terms and Conditions

1. General Provisions

These specific terms and conditions govern the contractual relationship between Blast Surf School and its customers. By booking a surf lesson or any other service offered by Blast Surf School, you agree to these terms and conditions without reservation.

2. Choice of plans

The "GROUP CLASS" package is available during school breaks and/or on weekends; see: weekend package; introductory package.

The “VIDEO COACHING” package, which includes video feedback, is available year-round upon request. However, availability is more limited during the summer months (July–August).

The “PRIVATE LESSONS” offer is valid year-round, both during and outside of school vacation periods.

The “CLUB PACKAGE” is valid outside of school vacation periods but not during school vacations. The 5- or 10-session passes are subject to the terms and conditions specified at the time of purchase.

3. Reservation Procedure

Reservations by phone or email: You can book our services by phone or email while you wait for our website to launch. A confirmation will be sent to you by email or phone. A deposit of 50% of the total amount is required to confirm your reservation.

4. Pricing and Payment Terms

4.1 Pricing:

Surf lesson prices will be listed on our website and, for the time being, sent via email. Blast Surf School reserves the right to change prices at any time. The prices charged will be those in effect at the time of booking.

4.2 Payment:

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, payable online. The balance is due at the start of the course. We accept payments in cash, by credit card (tap to pay), or online. We do not accept checks.

5. Cancellation Policy

5.1 Cancellation by the Client: Any cancellation must be submitted in writing to contact@blastsurfschool.com at least 72 hours before the start of the class to receive a refund of the deposit. After this deadline, no refund will be issued, except in the event of illness, accident, or death in the family.

5.2 Cancellation by Blast Surf School: Due to adverse weather conditions (lack of waves, storms, thunderstorms, etc.), we may cancel or reschedule a lesson. You will be notified as soon as possible, and an alternative will be offered. If rescheduling is not possible, the deposit will be refunded in full.

6. Liability and Insurance

6.1 Liability:

We are committed to ensuring the safety of our students, but they participate in classes at their own risk. Blast Surf School is not liable for accidents or injuries that occur during classes, except in cases of gross negligence.

6.2 Insurance:

We have liability insurance that covers students during lessons. However, we strongly recommend that participants have their own personal insurance for surfing.

6.3 Parental Consent:

By accepting these terms and conditions, parents or legal guardians authorize minors to participate in the courses and certify that they are physically fit to surf.

6.4 Adult Dumping Site:

Adult participants certify that they are medically fit to surf and release Blast Surf School from any liability in the event of an accident resulting from physical or medical unfitness, or from failure to follow the instructions given by the instructors.

6.5 Personal belongings and keys:

Blast Surf School assumes no liability for theft, loss, or damage to personal belongings (keys, wallets, phones, bags, etc.) left in the school’s vehicle or in personal cars. We strongly recommend that you do not leave any valuables in vehicles during the lesson, including car keys. No security service is provided.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this site, including graphics, images, text, videos, animations, sounds, logos, GIFs, and icons, is the exclusive property of Blast Surf School, unless otherwise stated. Any reproduction or use of these elements without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.

8. Right of Publicity

By participating in our classes, you agree that photos and videos may be taken during the sessions and used for promotional purposes (website, social media, brochures, etc.). If you do not wish to appear in these materials, please let us know before the class begins.

9. An inclusive environment and ethical commitment

Blast Surf School is a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space for everyone. We stand firm in our commitment to LGBTQIA+ rights and condemn all forms of discrimination (racial, religious, gender-based, disability-related, etc.). We firmly believe that everyone has a place in the water, provided they respect others and the environment.
